The DEAC Basketball Academy is one of Hungary’s largest and most successful basketball youth development centers and one of the three state-funded academies for boys’ basketball. Currently, our system includes more than 75 players aged 14 to 20, whose development is supported by an expanded team of professionals, contributing to their daily growth.
The academy’s home city, Debrecen, is considered the Hungarian capital of basketball events, having hosted three youth world championships, the Youth Basketball Champions League, and annually organizing 3×3 world events for the past 10 years.
The DEAC Basketball Academy hosts its youth tournament, the Cívis Cup. Since 2018, the game has been held annually, except during the COVID period, with prestigious international teams participating from all around Europe. The tournament’s main goal is to allow young players to test themselves in a global field under adult competition conditions.
